Seamless No-foam Bra
Instructor: Monica from Bravo Bella Bras
We all love the look of a seamless bra but are often unhappy with the poor support and awkward foam edges on the bras that are available in ready to wear. Monica has a solution for you! Sew along with Monica as she helps you to transform your standard bra pattern into a seamless one with our amazing bamboo jersey. You can use any pattern you like in this sew along, but Monica will be demonstrating with her own Bravo Bra #2 pattern. This pattern is great for support, but isn’t suitable for smaller cups.
Sponsored by: Cashmerette
Instructor: Jennifer Fairbanks
Those who’ve been garment sewing know the name Cashmerette! Specializing in sewing for curves, Cashmerette has now expanded their sewing line of patterns to include a wider ranges of sizes and most recently, LINGERIE! Their newest pattern, the Willowdale, will be a sew along, and we couldn’t be more excited!
The Willowdale bra pattern is sized from a 28C to a 54J, so there are lots of size options! We’ve created 2 kit sizes, a Smaller and a Larger. The Smaller works for up to about a size 14 wire, and the larger goes up to the size 54J. The pattern has options which vary based upon a number of different factors including bra band size (for hook and eye), the band/cup intersection (for lower band size) and wire size (for strap).
The Marie Panties
Instructor: Hannah from Evie la Luve
Matching sets are a really lovely thing to have! We love using the Marie Panties from Evie La Luve to create lovely panties that match our tulle lace bras! It’s a bit tricky to make a stretch garment out of non-stretch materials, but Hannah from Evie La Luve has figured it all out. Learn to make your own tulle lace panties with this sew along kit which features the pattern Marie Panties by Evie La Luve.
Instructor: Angela from Angel Sews
Sew along with Angela to learn the basics of panty making and helpful techniques for using up all your tidbits to make super cute panties! The featured patterns will be Astrid and Agnes by B, Wear and Thursday Thong by Emerald Erin but you can use whichever panty patterns you like. Don’t worry if these are not your style, Angela will showcase lots of patterns and techniques to make yourself a wardrobe of matching panties. We’ve done some experimenting and have settled on other elastics to best complete the two pairs of panties in the sew along. They are a bit different than what is pictured. The techniques Angela shows you can be used to make lots of styles of panties.
The Willow Set: French Knickers and Camisole
Instructor: Alison from Sew (your own) Wardrobe
Alison is a pro at the finer points of lingerie sewing. In this sew along, she’ll be introducing her new pattern The Willow Set, which features a nice streamlined pair of French Knickers and a sweet camisole. She’s diving into various lace techniques to get a super-professional result from your sewing. Our original idea for this sew along was to focus on the French Knickers. They are a very flexible garment that can be used as panties, lounge wear or pajamas. Alison created a full sew along with the companion camisole so that she could highlight some of the couture lace techniques, so watch the whole class even if you only sew up the knickers. This sew along uses the new Willow Set pattern by Alison Smith. Click here to purchase the PDF pattern!
